The morning started early, riding through the Lincoln Tunnel quietly before the city awoke. As we arrive in North East Manhattan, the city has started its daily movements and getting into its vibe which has nothing short of raging drivers and screaming out the window. The goal of the day was a photo community meet up hosted by Hi Influencer Collective and Dream Dwellers. As I walked into Central Park, I reached in my bag to get my camera but for some reason my camera wasn't turning on. This literally destroyed me, as I'm sitting around tons of photographers and my camera doesn't work. I got over my self, picked up my freinds extra film camera and started shooting what I could. At the end I ended up using my friends digital camera to snap some pictures, I hope you enjoy the pictures .
Bright lights & Philly nights /
The only problem with going into a shoot without a plan, is that you have no idea what you're going to get. But some of the best shots come from not knowing what to expect.
Well that's what happened with me in Philadelphia, going in with no specific thought in mind other than to just to shoot. The city itself had this vibe you could feel as soon as your foot touched the concrete, sometimes you find inspiration and sometimes it finds you. From the lights, to the skyscrapers and even the bright neon in China town; the city itself was always glowing. The theme of the city contrasted with the street fashion we brought in. As the sun got the lower, the the lights got brighter and at that point the ideas for pictures where constantly flowing in. It always helps when you have great photographers such as Justin, Dionte, Kevin and Dai"lleon. Its amazing how you can shoot the same subject but each photographer has their own perspective and view. The difference in artistic style tells the story of the day from multiple angles. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them
Comeback Season
OGP4 Project /
It was an amazing, privilege to be invited to the OGP4 shoot. Working with great photographers like Justin Marcellus Johnson, Blake Freckderick, Will Evans. Walking through the local neighborhoods of DC, hanging off government buildings, which I am pretty sure was illegal. But the small risk was worth it, as the shoots where coming out better than what we expected. Having a creative atmosphere filled with other artist was amazing, just bouncing ideas and thoughts off each other . In the words of Justin aka OG Jet “Create to inspire”, so I hope you enjoy the pictures you see.
First Wedding /
A wedding is a different experience from any other type of shoot, its something very beautiful. People allow you in their personal lives and that is something very precious to be able to capture these moments. When I look at this photo it captures the true essence of this couple. You can see how in love they are from the look on each others face. I'll tell you something i learned from my first wedding experience. First thing please bring another photographer with you preferable some one who is more experienced, having someone to go to when ever there was any doubt was amazing. Secondly make sure your prepared, bring extra batteries and memory cards. Thirdly get to know your client very well so you know exactly what they want. I enjoyed this so much i am really looking toward to my next one .
